I wasn't thinking of your post when I made a purchase for my business, www.1scan.co.uk, and tried to pay using an online payment service. When I got to the point where I clicked on the button, nothing. Done it a thousand times before but on Friday (with a new version of Safari), the button just didn't work.

So I went to their help system and submitted an error report. If that was my business I'd want to know.

I was thinking of your post when I got a reply. It was polite, it was considerate, it was in stilted English, but it missed the point. My feeling is that an outsourced call centre has staff schooled in text book English, but lacking sympathy with colloquial language. As a result I'm invited to contact Apple to get the fault fixed, Oh sure, your system doesn't work and I'm going to project manage the fix.

Next time, when their system doesn't work I'll just skip across to another service, one that hasn't outsourced tech support to India.

I think that you two guys are very good at what you do, but I've watched two of these blogs now and all you do is waffle and waste my time. Stop the clowning around and get to the point, make it half as long and maybe you'll achieve what you set out to do, but I won't be watching any more of your blogs; I've got more important things to do.

Brian, thanks for your comment. There is an endless supply of free, rich content with no personality all over the internet. The "waffling" is what makes us us, what makes some people (not all people) choose our information other the rest of the information out there. Maybe we're just not a fit for each other.
