What's The Purpose Of Having A TV On In Your Business? -- WTF? Episode #50

WTF? is a daily web show for small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to learn how to naturally attract customers and get the FAME and FORTUNE they deserve.

The other day we were having a lunch at a local restaurant and they had a few TVs on in the dining area. What was playing on these TVs was shocking and got us thinking about having TVs in your business. What's the purpose? Is there a way to use TVs effectively?

On today's show, we'll tell you what was playing on that TV and also discuss the purpose of having a TV in your business and the way to use it to grow your business, spike sales, improve marketing response and stimulate repeat and referral business. Yes, all this can be done with a TV but most TVs are just hurting your business… because they are not being used effectively.

After today's show you'll know how to turn the tables on your TV and make it a profitable marketing tool.

I got this idea from a frozen yogurt place that has a TV with a slide show of all their customers eating yogurt in their shop...

In our real estate office lobby, we have a flat panel on the wall scrolling through pictures of people who have just bought a home, signed loan docs, with keys in hand at, and in front of, their house. We encourage them to get as excited as we are in helping them get in to their home. Some are jumping, most have huge smiles, and all are grateful of the framed picture we send to them with our logo and website in the lower corner.

Everyone who comes in the office sees our happy clients.

Great timing guys. I went out to eat yesterday afternoon and here in this nice Cafe was the TV going behind the bar in the establishment. NASCAR on the TV and you know I was thinking? WTF!! Nobody at the bar and the place didn't have that many people in it.

Food and service was awesome though. You guys make me think about everything we need to look at as a marketing tool.

I was calling in. How come you didn't pickup?
